
The Tararua Bush is a true
wilderness property located on the boundary of the Tararua Forest
National Park on the western side of the Tararua Ranges on the North
Island of New Zealand.
The Tararua Forest Park is 700,000 hectares (nearly 2 million
acres) of mountains and New Zealand native bush.
The Tararua Bush is a 120 hectare (300 acre) property which shares
a two kilometre (one and a quarter miles) boundary with the park in
the form of the Mangatarere Stream

shows the main track through the property and the track up to the

Mount Holdsworth is the highest peak in the northwestern view and
offers a snow clad vista at times during the winter.
